To further facilitate the exchange of personnel between China and foreign countries, it has been decided that from 00:00 on March 15, 2023 Beijing time, the following adjustments will be made to the visa and entry policies for foreigners entering China :
1. The entry function of visas issued before March 28, 2020 and still valid will be resumed.
2. Visa authorities stationed abroad will resume the examination and issuance of various types of visas for foreigners to China. Please refer to the Instructions for handling visas for details.
3. Port visa authorities shall resume the examination and issuance of all kinds of port visas for legal reasons.
4. Resume visa-free entry policies for Hainan and Shanghai cruise ships, visa-free entry policies for foreigners from Hong Kong and Macao in Guangdong and visa-free entry policies for ASEAN tour groups in Guilin, Guangxi.
